When you play those big international lotteries, the ticket scans are proof that an actual, physical ticket has been bought on your behalf. Those physical tickets are the guarantee that you will be paid by the lottery commission in case of a major win. This is the basis of our business. This is what our customers at RedFoxLotto can expect.

Why is this so important?

Some of our competitors employ a so-called “insurance model.” Instead of buying actual tickets, you are basically placing a bet on the outcome of the lottery. Those insurance-based competitors have an insurance policy in place. The insurance will pay you in the event of a significant win. At least, that is the theory….

As a customer, do you want to rely on the promise that this insurance will pay out, especially when the jackpot win were to be $ 500 million or more? At RedFoxLotto, we think that our model is better. Our model even gives you the option to travel to the country where the lottery was held, arrange a meeting with the agency that bought that physical ticket, and pick up your winning ticket. You can then present that ticket to the lottery commission to get paid by them.

Of course, that is just an option. RedFoxLotto’s service offers to handle all of this for you. And we do not charge any fee or any percentage of your win for this service. You can even stay anonymous if you prefer. All you have to do is identify yourself as the owner of the ticket, and tell the lottery commission whether you would like to receive a check or a bank transfer.

How does the ticket purchase and the scanning work?

This is really quite simple – here are the steps:

  1. You order your ticket on our website and pay for your purchase. You will immediately receive a confirmation email with your selected numbers
  2. Your ticket order (including the numbers you have played) will be transmitted online to our ticket agent in the country of the lottery.
  3. The ticket agent then transmits this purchase order to an authorized local lottery retailer, who sets up the ticket and prints the ticket slip.
  4. Our ticket agent picks up the tickets and goes back to their offices.
  5. Once back at the office, the ticket will be scanned and then uploaded to the customer account.

Obviously, those 5 steps take a little time. Usually, you can expect the scanned tickets to be in your account approximately 2-3 hours after you ordered them. In cases of high demand, it may sometimes take a little longer than that.

Are there exceptions from the scanning?

Yes. Our Keno games and our custom lotteries are insurance-based. That is why there are no physical tickets for those games, and there are no ticket scans.
